this fantastic hotel is set, within the town of grantown on spey the victorian hotel has every facility you could need for a very comfortable stay. we stayed here in May for a weeks walking/bird watching holiday with our Dog, who was also made to feel very welcome with his own doggy welcome pack. the rooms very comfortable and clean. the staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. within the hotel is a wildlife club they produce a daily info sheet with ideas for walks and best places for wildlife sightings. the staff also give talks in the evening for anyone who wants to attend. they also run guided walks if you want to join them.
the food was excellent all locally sourced.
would definitely stay her again can only say great value for money and would recommend to anyone

We have spent 3 nights DB&B, this was our 1st visit but I'm sure that it will not be our last. The wild life hotel is an excellent name. The facilities provided are excellent and the information about wildlife and birds was very useful for us. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was very good from the limited menu. The hotel was very clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere and with the educational facilities was a great place to stay.
Thank you for a brilliant few days my husband thoroughly enjoyed his birthday this week with you.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the square are great and worth the upgrade

We've just returned from approximately our 12th visit (DB&B x 4 nights). The staff remember our 'favourites' and preferences and this enables us to immediately relax. In addition to the deserved and glowing reputation for its comprehensive educational wildlife facilities the hotel provides an excellent informal base to explore the surrounding highlands. One could be snowed in for a week and still find plenty to do either within the hotel or close by. All rooms are warm and comfy and service discreet and efficient as is the provision of my gluten and dairy free diet in the relaxing yet traditionally managed dining room. Paying a little extra for a larger room is well worth the expenditure although all rooms rates provide good value. The best hotel for miles and miles. Ann B.

Our second visit to the Grant Arms and we were not disappointed. The hotel has the slogan 'the wildlife hotel' and it is well chosen. There Is a specific area of the hotel set aside for wildlife matters, with staff available to assist in helping organise your day, or arranging organised trips. The staff without exception were friendly and efficient, and within the operation there has been great attention to detail. Our room overlooking the square was first class, and we chose to have a bathroom rather than shower room. We had dinner, B & B terms, and the inclusive menu was good if limited, whilst there was a wider menu at extra cost. Whilst the hotel specialises in wildlife, it is not' in your face' for those not interested. L

Have just returned from a week birding in Spey area based at The Grant Arms. Hotel clean and friendly. Staff efficient and attentive. We had a large room facing the square - well worth the extra.
Meals were well chosen and varied rather than fine dining. Efficient service meant time to go off birding until dark. Wildlife club provided so much guidance and background information that 7 days was not enough to scratch the surface of this wonderful area - we'll be back.

Room Tip: Upgrade to superior room well worth extra

This was our second trip to this hotel and the area. The food and staff in the restaurant was of a high standard. Our room was good, but on arrival we had to ask for a change of room because of rattling windows which kept us awake, this room was also quite small, it would have been suitable for a 1/2 night break but we were staying a week. Our needs were met with efficiency and speed and sorted to our satisfaction.

Room Tip: Both our trips we have been on the 1st floor and ok,but when we arrived on the second trip we were o...
