“Another Perfect Holiday Based At The Grant Arms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2012

My wife and I decided that the perfect place for us to celebrate our Fortieth Wedding Anniversary was the Grant Arms. This was our fifth holiday here in just under two years, and we love the place. I've said plenty about this place in the past, so I'll just keep it simple.

Staff - all absolutely wonderful (friendly, efficient, and helpful) Thank you to all of you for making our stay perfect

Food - amazingly good (the chef really knows his business)

Rooms - clean and well appointed (although the bed was a little hard for us this time round - harder than in other rooms)

Facilities - the hotel's Bird Watching and Wildlife Club (free membership to all guests) is excellent and gives advice and guidance to all who want it, and is an absolute goldmine of imformation.

Locality - it doesn't get better

Weather - it seems that we did much better than the rest of UK!!

Thank you to everyone at the Grant Arms. This was the best ever!

Just returned from the Grant Arms Hotel for a 4 night db&b stay. We had a clean comfortable superior room on the first floor. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent. The BWWC room was very interesting and informative. The only downside was the price of the drinks. Would definately stay here again if in the area.

Used the Grant Arms Hotel for a short 3 longweekend break, despite booking a Single room was given a Twin room, plenty of space. Room was clean and modern, free wifi in Hotel,no complaints with it apart from the TV which could do with upgrading to a more modern one apart from that no other problems. Had 3 breakfasts and 1 Dinner at Hotel, no complaints with quailty of food, helpful and friendly staff. Would certainly stay their again and would recommend it to anyone looking for accomodation in the Grantown/Aviemore area.

Needed to find a B&B room at the last minute in Grantown-on-Spey, and was delighted with the room we were given. Clean, spacious, quiet. Nice touch of a laundry for guest use if required. Breakfast was decent although I would not have paid £15.95 for it if walking off the street. Had Sunday lunch which was excellent value.

Warm welcome and as always, well looked after. Nothing seems to be too much trouble.Nice touches, even simple things like biscuits in the room everyday not just on day of arrival. Big breakfast and excellent evening meal.Unusually for an hotel, it has a resident wildlife expert to advise on places to visit and who produces a daily news sheet. Plus many of the staff are knowledgeable on paces to visit. Sad to leave.
