Stayed for 3 nights at the Gable End hotel and it really was perfect. Staff were really friendly and catered to our every need very happily- nothing was too much trouble! Room was lovely; comfortable and clean and a lovely view of the sea. Breakfast was yummy. We will most likely be coming back, we loved it! 100% recommend to anyone visiting Great Yarmouth. Thankyou Gable End hotel for making our first holiday together so perfect! X

Room Tip: We stayed in room 8 which was small but very comfortable with a lovely view of the seafront.

Just returned from a short break in Great Yarmouth, booked the trip spur of the moment and found the Gable End on line - I'm glad we acted on our impulse as we found a little gem of a B&B. Stella and David are lovely hosts, warm, friendly and very hospitable - we felt very much at home. Breakfast was lovely, whatever we asked for Stella and David were happy to oblige (smashing bacon & egg sandwich) and the food was straight from the pan to your table, hot and delicious. Location was perfect, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make it relaxing but near enough to be back amongst it in a couple of minutes short walk - smashing. Rooms spotless, tidy and comfortable. Thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable short break, I would heartily recommend this B&B to anyone without hesitation. Thank you for your hospitality Stella and David, I'm sure we will return for another enjoyable spot of R&R in the near future, hope to see you again

My daughter & myself stayed at this hotel recently when we came to Gt Yarmouth for the weekend.
Met by 'David' on arrival who was incredibly warm, informative and knowledgable of the area.
Room was small but comfortable and serviced us for what we wanted.
We'd highly recommend staying here, quite eland to the sea front and opposite the water gardens.

I spent four days here for work in February and everything was to a very high standard. When travelling on business, one never knows how good the hotel will be, but this was a very homely experience.

I had the large sea-view double which commanded excellent views of the wind farm. The room was comfortable, well maintained and the en suite facilities were new and perfectly adequate. My only (very petty) gripe is that the hangers in the wardrobe didn't match and were not really suitable to hang a suit up. Wooden hangers are so reasonably priced these days that I'm sure this would add immeasurably to the overall standard.

The breakfast was very good each morning. A good selection and made to order, ensuring it was always hot.

There is wifi, but you have to recognise that it's an old house and so the signal doesn't always get through. Sometimes I would be successful in the evening and other times I would have to wait until morning, when it would be reset. Again, not the end of the world, but i understand that the owners were in the middle of switching providers, so that might be the reason I had an erratic service.

All in all, a very good guest house. I wouldn't go to Great Yarmouth for a holiday, but when I return for work later this year, I will definitely book into the Gable End again.

Room Tip: The large sea view at the front of the property is an excellent size.
