brilliant beaches, great for flying parakites.
pleasure beach is getting a bit dated now as are some of the frontages on the prom.
anything seaside like is available cheap down regent road.
plenty of places to eat, not too many pubs though.
great for a family holiday with small kids.

great yarmouth is a nice place, the beaches are lovely, we went october and most things were closed but the market and shopping centres are plenty and open as usual, it rained for us but a lot is undercover so not too bad. if you are looking for a relaxing weekend its perfect. we didnt get to see the fort but was told it was good. we had great time and caister beach is very relaxing too. we stayed at haven seashore caravan park...good deals out of season and just a short drive to most places

great Yarmouth needs a face lift. There is nothing on at the theatres only the same old faces. Too many places closed and boarded up. Shopping is the same .Plenty of shops but still some closed. The beach is okay for kids but I do feel there isn't enough at night. Unless you like a drink then you are fine but again some pubs were closed.
