Visited for Sunday lunch while on holiday and we weren't disappointed at all. Restaurant was closed as it was booked for a private function however table in bar was just as good. Would definitely visit again.

I ate Sunday lunch here, and it was so much more than satisfying. The portion sizes are generous and price is more than reasonable. The quality of food is outstanding and served with such pride. The pub is well cared for and such attention to detail ensures that the whole environment is a pleasant place to be. The staff are friendly and relaxed too, overall I could not recommend this pub enough!! A perfect treat!

I Visited this Pub/Restaurant on the 03/08/13 for a friend's birthday, As many can read from the other reviews the food is literally to die for. First we ordered some drinks and was presented with a vast selection of meals on the menu; that all sounded delicious. The staff were really helpful and showed us to our table.

After a good read of the menu, I eventually settled with one of the Hogg's Famous Burgers ( King's Burger). Friends and Family ordered Similar Meals. We didn't have to wait long but whilst they prepared our meal the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and had a real friendly vibe. It was also really nice to be able to see you food being prepared as well. The food is presented outstandingly. The burger was served on a slate plate with hand cut chips fresh salad and some of the best onion rings on Earth. It's pretty much impossible to describe how good the food is here without physical trying it yourself. The best food by far In Norfolk.

And if you thought the main sounded good wait till you see dessert. Once again an amazing selection of desserts. As a cheesecake lover I knew I had to go for that. The dessert was by far the icing on the "cheese"cake. It was a work of art with extreme skill involved. It was served with heavenly cream Caged in a Chocolate Lattice. It was quite Literally to die for.

You really Can't Visit Norfolk without experiencing Pub Grub like this!!!

Despite being fairly local and always thinking how nice this pub looked from the outside, today was the first visit bit it certainly won't be the last! Had a wonderfully warm welcome from the bar staff who were well informed and helpful. Chose a speciality burger and fries from the extensive menu for lunch which arrived promptly and was delicious. So pleased that my friend and I decided to share as the portions are huge! The decor inside is crisp, clean, light and bright but as the sun was shining we enjoyed the pub garden overlooking the village church. Can't wait for a return visit!!
