We spent one night here during the August bank holiday weekend. It seems to have been renovated in recent years and so is in good condition. Efficient and friendly service, good clean room, well organised breakfast. Good location with a short walk to the main pier. The only tricky thing is finding parking on the street, but every town centre hotel probably has this situation. We did find a space outside and the hotel gave us a residents parking permit. I think that there are some car parks a few roads away but I did not need to use them.

Stayed 4 nights. Lovely clean room. Chose this hotel as it had a lift and was close to beach as we holidayed with elderly Mother. Liked the convenience of having the option to purchase evening meal (which we did).Staff were friendly and everything was run efficiently. This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. A very pleasant stay and we would definitely choose this hotel again.

Room Tip: We were specifically given a room near the lift because of my Mums mobility but it can be noisy so ask for a room away from lift.

Had a good time at the Waverley hotel in Great Yarmouth. Breakfast is good and all you can eat. Staff are really friendly and rooms were ok for a weekend away.i would stay agin and would recommend it to friends for a reasonable priced weekend away in Yarmouth .

I visited this hotel on 2-4th august for a weekend break with my boyfriend. We arrived late due to travelling and the staff were very welcoming and helpful in letting us park behind the hotel as there were no parking spaces by the time we arrived. The check in was a bit slow and we were not informed of what time breakfast was or told where our room was. The room was very stylish and modern and cleaned daily. It was equipped with everything needed. Although the windows could be double glazed as we were woken up by people leaving the pub down the road at the early hours of the morning and the seagulls. We had a room with a sea view and a balcony which was lovely in the morning to look out at the sea whilst having a cup of tea! The breakfast is a self service and I couldn't fault it, there is plenty of selection from a full English to yoghurts and cereals. The only bad thing is that breakfast runs for one hour only (8:30-9:30am). The hotel is the perfect location for the seafront as it is a minute walk to the sea front and the pier and the amusements. Overall, the Waverley hotel is a perfect hotel for a weekend break, I was very impressed with the service and the room, I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again!
