Owner description: The Pleasure Beach with its mixture of high-octane rides and traditional attractions sits at the top of Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile dominating the seafront skyline with its famous Skydrop. Spread over nine acres, the Pleasure Beach offers huge family fun, full-throttle white knuckle rides to exhilarate and thrill, water attractions to catch your breath and fun rides to keep the children happy for hours. Our roller coaster has been the star attraction since 1932 and is still a crowd puller today. More than 1.1 million visitors enjoyed the Pleasure Beach experience in 2013, confirming our place in the top 10 UK free entry amusement parks. And even more attractions, rides and innovations are on their way.

Everythings looks old and not safe. The rides for children look not safe too, i would not let my sister to go on them, as the rides look broken and damaged. it is very easily to get an injury for a child in those rides.
nothing new. I've been here for 8 years and rides have not been changed. Maybe even not repaird

We have a variety of rides, some new and some older traditional rides. All rides are independently checked annually and inspected daily by our own engineers. The ride operators are all fully trained. The safety of our customers is of utmost importance to us. If you have any specific concerns then please contact us direct so that we can address them for you.

The wrist bands are good value and the kids will always love the Pleasure Beach but the unpleasant side of the place comes when you enter any of the toilets, there you are faced with the inevitable stench of stale urine, dirty toilets and dirty sinks.

The lack of cleanliness is disgusting and whilst I realise it is the guests who create this mess there was no one cleaning the toilets to ensure they remained hygienic. You will curse yourself for the need to use these facilities and break the human endurance record for holding your breathe whilst inside them.

We counted 6 maintenance staff standing around trying to look "cool" and important with their shades on watching people going past, when it would have been more "cool" to have seen them with mop and buckets cleaning inside the stinking toilets.

One day all tourist attractions will wake up to the fact the paying guests demand clean facilities to use and not just the thrill of the rides.

I remember being a child and thinking just how magical pleasure beach was, 30 years later and the magic has worn off a little but the theme park still has plenty to offer. The Ghost Train is one of the better ones in Britain and the crazy fun house does exactly what it says on the tin!

We did not get wrist bands as for a family of four it would have cost over £75 we only wanted to stay for an hour or so as we wanted to go to sealife and walk along the front. We brought a family bag of tokens 30 for £25.00 the main reason for our visit was to ride the old roller coaster. My husband used to come as a child, for him it was just the same and the kids loved it too. People on this site say its expensive, but when the fair comes to our local park it's at least £2.00 a ride if not more for the popular ones, so really it's on par. As I say kids loves the snails, the race horses, caterpillar, if the kids are happy it makes us as parents happy. No it's no Alton towers but dont have these expectations for a seaside pier fair ground.

We visited Great Yarmouth pleasure beach over the recent Easter weekend and found that whilst the rides were generally ok with a good mix of thrill and family rides the wristband prices were in our opinion overpriced.

Since last year the park has added a new spinning roller coaster, re-themed the ghost train and changed the film that is shown in the 4D cinema which is definitely a step in the right direction but this is not enough to justify the wrist band cost which for a family of four (two adults and two children aged four and seven) cost circa £73.00 at the time of our visit.
