Owner description: The Pleasure Beach with its mixture of high-octane rides and traditional attractions sits at the top of Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile dominating the seafront skyline with its famous Skydrop. Spread over nine acres, the Pleasure Beach offers huge family fun, full-throttle white knuckle rides to exhilarate and thrill, water attractions to catch your breath and fun rides to keep the children happy for hours. Our roller coaster has been the star attraction since 1932 and is still a crowd puller today. More than 1.1 million visitors enjoyed the Pleasure Beach experience in 2013, confirming our place in the top 10 UK free entry amusement parks. And even more attractions, rides and innovations are on their way.

“some nice rides”
Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

there are some fairly good rides but nothing remotely modern or thrilling, the rollercoaster is still worth a few goes and is fairly smooth for a woodie but it needs some new rides.

“FUN, FUN, FUN”

Great choice of rides for all the family, plus great 4d cinema.
Rather pricey at £20.00 for wristband all rides.

“Just love this place, great, great, great!!”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

We have been here countless times and never get bored! Its £18.50 for an unlimited all day wristband. The wooden rollercoaster is a must and being the man that sits on it and brakes, must have the best job in the world!! There is plenty for all ages and heights, with my 8 year old being able to drive a bumper car on her own (which is a first and certainly not allowed at Chessington). Its open from 11am til about 9pm during the Summer and you can certainly spend a whole day in there and not get bored. Its right on the seafront and there is a car park you can use which is £4, but you get this back when you buy your wristband. Great place, absolutely love it!!

“A fun day out!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

We visited on Saturday 4th August 2012 and the weather alternated between sun and very heavy showers/thunderstorms but that did not detract from the fun we experienced. I love the fact that this Pleasure beach allows people to wander around without charge unlike Blackpool Pleasure Beach! The wristbands are excellent value for money and we certainly got our monies worth!
The Pleasure beach was spotlessly clean and all staff were pleasant and helpful working in rather adverse weather conditions! Staff were clearing rain/puddles away on and off all day but were still smiling (take note Blackpool pleasure beach!) and the rides still worked even in the torrential rain!
We enjoyed Mulan, pirate ship 4d cinema, dodgems snails waltzers etc but the highlite is the wooden rollercoaster and the poor guy who "drives" the coaster even in the rain! We must have rode this at least 10 times!
What I loved about this Pleasure beach (and I have been visiting since my childhood in the 1960's) is the "family environment" , friendly staff and the "nostalgia" rides as well as new ones!
I enjoyed seeing my daughter and her friends running from one ride to the other having fun.
We found the food cheap and of a good quality we cant wait to return.
