Great Guest House, in a good location, close enough to walk to the front in a few seconds, but far enough away to not suffer with noise. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Everything is spotlessly clean, despite having the workmen in! Shame I was only staying for one night

Booked a two night stay in the room with the sea view.
On arrival the owner noticed that I was disabled, he showed great concern, as to reach the room I had to go up 2 flights of stairs, he quickly arranged another room for my husband and I with en suite facilities, the room was beautifully decorated, cosy & comfortable.
The entire experience was lovely, great hosts, lovely food, made to feel very welcome, we would definitely stay here again.
Thank you.

I stayed here for the last three days. Gary who is the host was very welcoming and super warm and friendly. The superior room we booked was spacious and has a decent sized shower and TV. Excellent location from the seafront, bus station and town centre. Breakfast was also freshly made and Gary remembered my preference to my vegetarian choice and what I wanted to be included and excluded. Overall I enjoyed my stay and Gary added that personal touch that genuinely made me feel valued.

Ok I dont leave bad reviews lightly so here goes.
I stayed on 9th-10th Oct 18' at first everything was grand had a lovely welcome room was nice on first impressions and shower and toilet was clean and was happy, so settled in for the night. That is the good part. The next morning i awoke to be covered in a rash of some kind, i was slightly alarmed as this is definitely not usual for me I am a clean hygenic person, I had a shower and coffee before I left the B and B and went straight to the hospital at james paget as this rash definitely looked like something to worry about. I have held off writing this review until I had confirmed something i never expected but it was confirmed is Scabies, which the only logical explanation (since i Have not been in close contact with anyone else the last 2 days and my bedding at home is definitely not infested) that the hotels bedding surprisingly may not have been washed properly or something as I am 99.9999999% sure this is where i woke up with this skin condition. I am sorry to say this but if it alerts the owners to maybe check where they have their laundry cleaned it will help someone else to not wake up with a nasty suprise.
