We visited the Time and Tide museum last Sunday as part of my son's 14th birthday outing. What a great discovery. This museum is a terrific place to visit; much bigger than it looks and it provides a wealth of fascinating information and facts about the history of Great Yarmouth and the role that the Herring industry played in the life of the town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and overall we had a great day out.
The onsite cafe was also very good value and the parking opposite the museum very cheap indeed.
Overall I would highly recommend a visit to this museum.

Excellent museum, spent two hours visiting this small but great place.
I am disabled and use a mobility scooter there is access to the whole museum but watch the cobbled pathway to reception very bumpy.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Portable audio is very informative.

Great location in an old smoke house - gives you a very good idea of what Gt. Yarmouth was like in its fishing heyday. Very good experience and well worth the visist for young & old alike.

There is interest for both children and adults and the cafe is good value too. Go there every year and take the Grandchildren.

This museum provides a fascinating contrast to the modern, commercial Great Yarmouth, giving a real insight into the history of the place and its people. Well worth a visit.
