Great Yarmouth SeaLife Centre is the best I have visited. Sure, they have a lot of what you can see at other aquariums but what makes it so outstanding is the staff on hand to educate & explain to everyone about what you are looking at. The talks are both informative and fun & everyone In my family (from my four year old boy to my Nan) enjoyed our visit. The 'conservation messages' through petitions & talks are presented with sincerity by the excellent team members & not too 'preachy'.
Well done to the team, it can't be easy answering the same questions (we heard two families ask the same questions at the shark tank that we had asked, but the pirate gave the answers in a slightly different way to make it interesting for us listening too!
the restaurant seemed expensive til we realised 'kids eat free' ie one free kids meal for every adult meal purchased! Excellent value! Current work going on to extend the aquarium part of the building meant 'double backing' on ourselves, but didn't interfere with our enjoyment. We look forward to viewing the new Claws exhibit in the future
Thank you all & Keep up the great work!

I have to be upfront and state that I'd usually pull my own teeth than go to Sea Life Centres as most we've been to have been really disappointing. However, I really enjoyed our visit to the Great Yarmouth centre.

We went on a very quiet day in October and had a free family pass so that might have helped! Other than the very annoying area at the start where a staff member wants to take your photo for you to buy later, we really enjoyed our entire time there. Although not hugely big, the themed areas are fantastic with a great selection of fish. We really enjoyed going from the Orient to the Aztecs and all the other areas and ouc children had a great time following the quiz trail. Staff were superb with our children, especially helping our eldest who uses a wheelchair to hold and access all the touch tables. Felt we actually took time and read more of the information than we'd usually do and think this was down to the great layout and the want to spend time in the different "countries".

On exiting, there is a fabulous, fabulous shop and a great cafe and soft play area. Hands are all stamped so your entry gets you in as many times as you like in that day. We had lunch, a walk along the seafront then our boys were desperate to go back round again.

I'd say that paying full price might not be worth it but if you can get one of the many 2 for 1 vouchers, then it's a great day out.
