It's the sort of place that gets bigger as you walk around. Lots of thought and effort has gone into setting out the various village and townscape scenes. Some of the models are getting a bit tired, needing a lick of paint, etc.

The gardens around the site are very well presented. At the moment there are halloween items too.

Really lovely visit here in Oct 2020. The model village is quaint, the grounds beautiful and the mini golf and old arcade gave plenty to do. The staff were kind and welcoming, and all the COVID measures were in place but didn’t spoil the involvement. Sadly we had to leave to travel home, but sure it would have been good to go back in the evening to see it lit up too.

Lovely day out for all and great that there’s a crazy golf to do as well! I’ve been many times over the years and always want to return. Lovely that you can now have a picture with you places into the village to take home as a memory. Lots of interactive buttons and things to look out for throughout the little village. The illuminations are lovely too. Great that your ticket allows you to come back all day and another day in the coming week. Able to feed the fish in the ponds which is a lovely addition. Lovely old fashions Penny arcade and very family friendly 2p arcade.
It could do with a bit of TLC but I put that down to visiting at the end of the season after a pandemic. Would definitely go back again and again.

Visited on a rainy dreary day but was still fun.
My only argument is the staff clearly don't walk the village first thing on a morning and pick up the fallen over items or people. Make sure the cars aren't all over the shop and the trains are nicely sitting on the track. We come from the isle of wight and after seeing an immaculate well maintained model village with not a hair out of place maybe we are spoilt.

It was a bit of fun to pass some time.

Oh also it would be nice to know what kind of pictures your little portrait thats taken when you walk in is going on so you can pose accordingly rather than all standing to attention and then finding you all look way to stiff for any of the backgrounds at the end.

An amazing place to visit. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The exhibits and models are of a very high standard. Crazy golf is enjoyable and included in the admission price too. The gardens are incredible and its worth visiting just to walk around and enjoy the garden.
