Just spent 4 days at the Willow Lodge Hotel, rooms are really comfortable and well decorated/furnished. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is first class and after eating that, there is no need to eat till the evening.
Would highly recommend to friends.

Room Tip: The executive room is highly recommended.

my husband and I stayed at willow tree lodge for just the one night, our room was small but extremely well set out with beautiful soft furnishing and finishing touches. very clean and quiet. we had some pleasant views. the first thing you will notice on parking up, is the lovely garden and the care taken to make the outside of the premises look nice. breakfast was more than satisfactory, served with a smile on beautiful crockery and very classy cutlery. I would have no hesitation in choosing this hotel again.

Room was very nice and clean toilet and shower a little small but never minded. Host very friendly and welcoming. A very pleasant Stay. Some nice antiques in the hotel to keep you amazed too. Would most definitely recommend the hotel. Sea view was good and decor was a mix of old and modern. Lovely.

The room we had was on the second floor and we were in room number 4. This room featured a monster double bed, some excellent quality furniture with an antique feel. There was a 2 seater settee with a widescreen tv with free view. Also ,with lovely bay windows that gave you a good view of the football ground and part view of the beach.

Our welcome was well received, very friendly and polite. Showed us to our room, made a point of remembering our name which was a nice touch.

The only down points were that you would of expected a higher standard of quality within the shower room. It just did not feel as if it was in keeping with the decor and the quality.

Breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble, the only suggestion I would make is some light background music. As at times the atmosphere was a little flat.

Will return again, visited to see family, great hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights in Willow Tree Lodge htl (room nr 9) - our room was on the top
floor - a good size room with a decent bed and nice antique furniture, partly sea and
football ground view.
As we looked on the website before we went there all pictures showed bathroom with bath.
So we were disappointed that with this lovely room we got a tiny shower room.
All towels had hole on it or pieces hanging from them - to replace the towels wouldn't cost much a lot.
For a four star quality B&B you would expect a higher quality bathroom facilities.
(Tiles I think could be put up better, old dirty fan)
In the room with this type of furniture I would never put in a basic odd looking plastic rubbish
bin. Most part of the house very high standard and some bits were just shocking.
Friendly welcome and full English breakfast.

Room Tip: We had room (nr 9 ) on the top floor -It has sea view from one window - mainly facing onto an ugly...

What a gorgeous little hotel this is. Immaculate decor; scrupulously clean and very welcoming. The super king size bed in our double room was so comfortable. The chocolate cookies and bottles of water were lovely finishing touches. The tea set and kettle were spotless as was the shower curtain (a pet hate of mine). The TV had a built in DVD player and films were available free from reception if you so wished. WiFi was also free but the connection wasn't great (this didn't bother me one bit). The single room was just as excellent. The dining room was tastefully decorated with small intimate tables seating up to four or one large antique looking table in the middle for larger parties. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of cereals; fruit juice; a full English, teas, coffee and toast. We were offered more, but the first helping was substantial. We only met one of the proprietor's Barrie as we were there for one day/night only however we will definately booking for a longer stay next time. One of the nicest places I've stayed in at Great Yarmouth. 10/10
