Just had 2 wonderful weeks at haydee. When arriving you get a warm welcome. We had the room at the front with balcony which was nicely decorated, nice white divet, runners & cushions & a new bathroom. The full english breakfst was very good with plenty of coffee & toast. While there my partner was unwell with breathing problems & had 2 nights in hospital.Nora & Joe did everything to help me.We have booked to go next year.Keep up the good work Nora Joe & Lorraine.

Room Tip: The rooms with balconies are ideal as you can watch the world go by.

We decided to spend a weekend in Yarmouth for the "Out there Festival" as we loved it last year. We chose the Haydee because they were offering a special rate of £50 per night for 3 nights. I wasn't expecting much for that price but was very pleasantly surprised. We had a room on the top floor but its only 2 flights of stairs so not bad. The room was newly and tastefully decorated with co-ordinated cushions and runners and a king size bed. The bathroom was also new and had a double shower which was handy because I'm not small. It was clean and there was also a fridge in the room which was handy for our bottle of wine! Although we didn't drink it because we had a drink in the bar with Nora and Joe. The breakfast was lovely, not greasy, good quality bacon and plenty of it with a menu choice every morning. I found it excellent value for money and will definitely go back next year

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front with Sea Views

We have just returned from a visit to The Haydee, We went to the Horse Racing and as before we had a wonderful time , The rooms have all been decorated since our last visit and have lovely new quilts and covers and all the windows have been double glazed so the seagulls are less noisy !
Nora and Joe made us very welcome and remembered us from last year, We have booked again or next year as the Haydee is just perfect for us

We've just spent a lovely 2 nights at the Haydee whilst in Yarmouth for the races. We were in a room at the front with a balcony which was lovely because we could sit outside and see the sea and watch the world go by. The room was lovely with 2 double beds, lovely crisp white duvet covers with matching runners and cushions. The bathroom was brand new and modern and very clean. Even though we were just off the seafront, with the double glazing we never heard a thing and had an excellent nights sleep! The breakfast was lovely and Nora is a delight! In my opinion, anybody who says the Haydee is not clean either has a grudge or is the competition!

Room Tip: All rooms are clean and comfortable

stayed here 3 nights,it was noisy every night didnt have one good nights sleep.my husband and I were in one of the top rooms and I dont think the vacuum reaches that far.The shower cubicle had some sort of black mould on it.the couple in the next room had the same problems so it wasnt just us,we would not recommend it.the only good point is,it is close to the pier and shop but in my opinion too much of a compromise.

Room Tip: only accept room on lower floors

This guest house is situated in a lovely place . so close to everything. The pier, Regent street for shopping, The owner was very friendly. Parking is a little bit of a nightmare as the whole street was full, but the owner moved her car so as we could park for the night. Very kind of her,My girls enjoyed themselves going for drinks to the Pub on the prom, Then playing bingo in Majestic was good fun. All in all a good weekend. Thanks

Room Tip: Rooms we had were very basic. The bathroom was not a up to much. Very confined and small for us. Oth...

We first stopped for a couple of nights back in August and fell in love with Nora and Joe. Before we left that time we booked a weekend for our wedding anniversary (21st to 24th Oct 2011). We're just sorry we didn't book again but will be doing so soon.

The room we had both times was cosy and comfortable. It was very clean and there was strong evidence of just how well they are cleaned each day. The breakfast was great and Nora's memory for who likes what was another nice touch. Special mention must be made for the cooked breakfast, it was not greasy at all and the ingredients were clearly not cheap either.

The towels provided were big enough to be useful, not silly little ones. We wondered if we would be remembered after our first visit and we were! You never get anything less than a wonderfully warm welcome, and they seem just as sad as us when we have to leave, believe me we are! Nora and Joe are adorable, they really are.

Another point for special mention is the number of people we met both times who have stayed there before, it's really impressive to see just how many people like it there as much as we do. Now we have joined the club of returning guests and hope to stay in it for some time to come. We had first hand experience of the excellent customer care and nothing was too much trouble when my wife was a little poorly (not poorly because of anything at the Haydee I have to stress) and we can't stop talking about them after we have returned home.

So to sum up the Haydee, you are treated more like a family member than a guest, it's clean and comfortable, excellent value for money, the breakfast sets you up for the day, and it's a joy to spend time with Joe in the evening while having a drink which won't break the bank.

We'll be back!
