Stayed for one night in April. Booked through Hotels.com and could have had a double room for £45. Decided to make it special and book a suite at £80 thinking it would be.....well a suite I suppose! What we actually got was a room with a 4 poster bed and a bathroom with a big orthopedic bath. Very nice but with no actual shower a bit wasted really.

Overall it was just average. Expected more from the room, not because it was £80 which is fine for what it was, but because it was close on twice the price of a standard room. I don't favour the chains particularly but would have probably got better value for money from the Premier Inn at Broad Street.

It's fine but nothing to write home about.

Room Tip: Don't book a suite. Waste of money

Brilliant stay, room was fantastic value for money and the staff were very friendly! Breakfast was great and the location was ideal, close enough to pubs and clubs but far enough away to be quiet! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here on a night out in halifax, there were three of us so booked the triple room, very good sized room, carpet could have done with a clean but ok as it was just somewhere to get ready and sleep for the night, had a meal in the evening which was very nice although they didnt have vinegar for your chips! so it was a little dry with chicken too!

Breakfast which was included in the price was awful, just laid out on basic hot plates, not a very good selection, just basic, very basic, and we were made to move tables for no apprant reason when we were already half way through getting our breakfast so that was a deal breaker

The price was good, free parking, great size room, just a shame breakfast and the morning breakfast staff let it down

Room Tip: triple room is a great size but could do with a carpet clean!

There is a saying " you get what you pay for" I feel i got a bit more as the room rate was very reasonable. Very nice hotel in a great location ,free parking (which is always a bonus) very nice staff and a good room. Would stay again....

We booked last minute and got a fabulous deal at the wool merchant . We had a lovely 1 bedroom apartment with fabulous views . Room 31. The apartment also had a jacuzzi and a separate power shower. The restaurant la taverna below rather hotel is defiantly a hidden gem and the meals were fantastic. The calzone Kiev pizza was the best and largest I have ever had . Compliments to the chef

Room Tip: Book the apartment
