These gardens are, a hidden gem in Harlow. Great sculptures, something round every corner. Quiet spots for reflection, great place to get away for an afternoon - lovely gardens too.

A 15 acre garden on the edge of Harlow. The former residence of Frank Gibbard, who designed Harlow, Liverpool Cathedral, Heathrow Terminals 1-3 etc etc.

Beautiful planting, and landscaped gardens, scattered with nearly 100 Sculptures old and new.
Plus a barn building selling delightful tea and home made cakes with seating inside and out.

Been several times and always find new things to explore. Now for an extra £1 there is timed entry to the house itself, staffing by eager volunteers who personally show you around.

Gibbards house is a real Jem. Although in need of some work. the selection of plants and artifacts is fantastic. Go on the bear festival day or any of the special open days and it gets better. Dont go if its wet though!
