No-one is sure what the brochs were built for, however, this one is well worth the visit if only to marvel at the expertise of people 5000 years ago

Nice to visit, it's free and you can walk round Clickiman Loch, it's not too far a walk from Lerwick town centre

Located just next to Tesco's in Lerwick these are really well preserved remains of an old broch that you can explore.

This was an easy walk from town center and can be combined with other walking paths. It was well worth the effort to find this spot, a bit crowded with tourists but still quite pleasant. Signage was appropriate.

We toured around the Shetland Islands and came across this site. It is a very quick stop and interesting although not much information is available. Worth seeing if you get a chance.
