This broch is amazing. I was there on my own and could wander about quite freely. Walked there round the loch so I could take it all in. Very much worth a visit.

another free history monument in shetland! A really nice area to walk around. You may even be able to crawl in to the nooks and crannies if you a small enough to get through the tunnels.

Nothing very spectaucalr. But is a good example of broch. Allowys you see the layout and in an excellent setting. Ideal place to live.... Tescos is just across the road.

This location is a must see for any traveller to The Shetland Isles.
Located on the outskirts of the main town of Lerwick, this Broch which is on a small Island
and can be reached by walking on a path to is 3000 years old.
Anyone who is interested in History or Archaeology or Photography must make this
a "MUST SEE" on their list of things to do.
The Mousa Broch, which you need a boat trip to get out to was closed due to the time of
year ( Oct ),...but "Clickimin certainly made up for it.
( Car Parking can be had nearby .)
