We ate here one night after arriving in Lerwick. The restaurant is located above the bus terminal in the main part of town. It’s listed in most guide books. It was busy with locals and tourists the Wednesday evening we were there. The décor was nice and the servers pleasant and efficient. The restaurant advertises itself as Chinese and Thai. I ordered a Thai red curry, but it came with no coconut milk (!) and had a Chinese sauce instead. So it was not really Thai. “Thai-nese” is a more accurate description. The rice was dry and overcooked probably from sitting around. Despite being busy, there was little waiting and the food came out right away. In fact, the whole place had a rushed fast-food feel to it with quick table turnover. The food was tasty enough and the portions ample, but it was overpriced, especially anything to drink. Based on this experience, I can’t really recommend this place, but you need not avoid it either. Personally, I wouldn't go back.
