Six of us booked in for an early start at 6pm, as we wanted to go straight from work. Great service, friendly staff. Really good selection on menu thought it was too good to be true, but each of us were very satisfied with our choices. I had the scallop on black pudding with pea puree for starter (really nicely presented, and tasted delicious), followed by pig on a plate. You can guess by the title of my review what my thoughts were on this culinary delight. Best food I have ever tasted! Price was really good too - keep those prices and the same standard of food turning out and your footfall will double - best book your Christmas "do" now folks!
If your looking for a negative, I would say that the dessert choice could have been a little more inspiring, but I don't do puddings, so didn't bother me in the slightest! Chairs were a bit cumbersome, and difficult to pull in and push out and if you dare to close to have a freshen up on the decor it will only improve on the gastronomic ambience!
My one regret? I forgot to take photos :(
