Really lovely food - gorgeous starters with a mixed platter for the three of us. It included stuffed vine leaves, hummus with pitta, mixed olives, salami and yogurt dip. Mains were really tasty too - lamb with apricots, and chicken with tomato sauce. Service was attentive - our waiter was knowledgeable about the food on the menu. Only down side was that the Prosecco was flat - they did try another bottle but that was flat too and lacking in flavour.

Average comments from my daughter would probably mean I/wife wouldn't go and try the instanbull grill

average food and slightly overpriced was her view...

issue is that there are so many decent places to eat in Knutsford that average doesn't cut it

Its good to see a restaurant open in Knutsford that's a bit different. We went on mothers day so a full restaurant - even though the restaurant was at its busiest the service was good and friendly . A menu that was difficult only because with the choice it was hard to decide what I wanted to try the most. Everyone change their minds several times before we ordered !!
We all chose different things, starters were very good and everyone liked the mains. I do think it is a little bit over priced but this is Knutsford ......
We will be visiting again.

We eat as a family of 4 on Sunday evening, as lovers of Turkish food we enjoyed the Iskender main courses (though pricey), there was plenty to eat and we all struggled to finish, my daughter had the grilled chicken from the children's menu which she loved and was good value. My son had the grilled lamb fillet which was from the main menu, he said it was tasty but again quite expensive. The service was excellent, very pleasant and had a nice chat with the waiter about Turkish football. Rounded of nicely with a Yeni Raki and Turkish coffee we enjoyed our visit, and will return. Lunch menu looks very good value.

Whilst not on the same level as the legendary and much missed Topkapi Palace on Peter street (now demolished) this is an excellent addition to the Knutsford eating scene.

We visted this restaurant expecting an exciting taste of the Eastern Mediterranean, what we received was average service, a limited menu, which lacked detail, and basic food that was decent but not of the quality we expected considering the prices they charged.

It is nice to see such an important Knutsford building back in use, however some of the pictures are a little (ahem) interesting.

The menu lacks description and while I agree that too many outlets overly complicate their food, the actual dishes here do appear to be very simple.

The falafels were tough (over fried), bread was basic and limitred to Pitta and the meat was lost in sauces - given the prices charged I would have expected more fresh and high quality ingredients, freshly baked flat breads etc. Puddings were pre-prepared and frozen.

Given the variety and quality of other food outlets in the town I expect that this resaurant will need to up its game considerably in order to do well.
