First visit to this restaurant. As a family reunion/birthday celebration we had pre-booked for six adults and two children. Ambience and welcome were excellent and apart from one rather tough/gristly steak the food was superb. Beware a busy Saturday evening however. The service can be described as relaxed - if you are in a coma. It was painfully slow with starters taking an hour plus to appear and at least the same again for mains. Fortunately both kids had fallen asleep long before the end but we skipped puds and coffees as we wanted to be home before morning.
