Browns Lane is a small bar with an upstairs restaurant in an awkward position on a road junction on the edge of the one way system not far from The Orange Tree and Mr Chans. The nearest parking is either the lesuire centre or the beehive carpark (or Bedford Square if you are really lucky). The food is generally traditional with a few quirky dishes thrown in - fajitas sit alongside venison, duck and beef dishes. The food is good although somewhat pricey and the service can be a little poor at times. The small dining area can feel a little noisy at times if there are a few groups in and it can be a little risky if you are planning a romantic meal for two. I think it is best experienced with a group of friends or family.
