Agree with most of the comments. Accomodation (Premier Chalet) was excellent. feeding the ducks was great!
Meals were the biggest problem. Since Warner's changed their policy and introduced a carvery they appear to have reduced dining room staff numbers. We had two waiters to cover aproximately 60 tables. That is a minimum of 120 people for starters, mains and sweets etc. All to be done in an hour. They seem to rely on a serve yourself clientele?
The staff are under great pressure and just have not the time to be friendly or conversational. They do, however, do their best and are to be commended for that.

Generally the food was overcooked or undercooked and for an establishment within five miles of a fishing port to serve fried fish cooked from frozen is abysmal.

The first day we arrived, you have to take trollys to carry your luggage on, to the challets, ours wasn't to far from the main area at first. That evening as I was having a shower, the smoke allarm whent off, as we found out later this happened in quite a few challets over the week, the chap from next door came in and stood on the bed to remove the battery, to stop the allarm. I complained to the manager and he appolagised and said he would move us and upgrade us, so foolishly I agreed, because the room we were transfered to was on the outer perimeter of the camp, I think in fact it was kept empty as part of the punishment block. The reason the smoke allarms were going off was the steam, there are no extractor fans in the bathrooms. The entertainment was OK, but a little ameturish, the staff were quite pleasant and helpfull and amazingly, no East Europeans, the food was quite adequet. There are only a small amount of trollys to go round, so if like us, you are on the outskirts of the camp, make sure you take a trolly back with you the night before you leave, but there are porters to transport your luggage, when you arrive and when you leave, alledgedly free. I don't think I would like to stay in challets again, they also have even cheaper cabins on offer, the worst thing about our first couple of nights, was how cold it was, they only have storage heaters.. We stayed from the 18/4/08 to the 25/4/08.
