Harbour Lights Guest House
Ranked #8 of 28 Lowestoft B&B and Inns
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Two middle aged men left the wives for a weekend to do some sea fishing in January. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and contineously throughout our stay. The room we had was immaculate and tidy, spacious and warm. On suit with tv and refreshments. Great seafront views and quiet. The breakfast was superb and being two hungry men, it sustained us both till evening.
Thanks for a great stay, see you again most definately

Room Tip: Book in advance to avoid disapointment as this is a popular B&B for contractors as well as holid...

Needing two rooms for business in Lowestoft, this guest house proved to be an excellent find. Forget your Premier Inns at £80 and rubbish breakfast, the rooms were spotless, comfy and Michael knocked up a delicious full english for me and my colleague. OK, so the room wasnt en suite, but the location is great, true sea views from my room and we were able to park right outside. Short stroll to the Pier and a few pubs etc. I rarely review hotels as very few meet expectations, but Im happy to take the time to review the Harbour Lights. Enough reason to come back to Lowestoft for a social visit!

The rooms in this guest house are spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfasts are delicious and generous. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Harbour Lights is in a great location being within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and the attractions of Lowestoft. On our next visit to the area we will not hesitate in booking this guest house.

Room Tip: Rooms 2 and 5 have great sea views.

Just back from a really enjoyable stay at Harbour Lights Guest House. The room and en suite were compact but comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfasts very generous, and Michael and Frances both cheerful, friendly and helpful. The B & B tariff is very reasonable. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. Thanks very much.

Room was good quality, furniture was quality. the shower could have had more power but this really is me being fussy. The view from the window was excellant.

Room Tip: choose the sea view for best experience

I stayed at Harbour Lights Guest House whilst working at Lowestoft Theatre. The rooms are clean, and modern. I stayed in room number 1 - double bed with en suite. My friends who I work with were in all of the other rooms, and we had a great week. Breakfast is lovely - although 9am is latest it is served which is tricky when working evenings.
Thank you so much to Michael and Frances - very nice people.
Parking was free right outside which is always a plus point.
Free wifi also.

Found on the Internet and a great find. We has the the ensuite overlooking the sea, the room was ideal for the rate they charge and truly comfy beds, I must compliment the spotlessness of the entire guest house, a credit to the owners.
Francis and Michael are a welcoming couple who could not do more to be helpful and without being over fussy with visitors.
Breakfast? A delight! Could not have been better, freshly cooked, excellent choices and very filling! What a lovely 2 night stay and we shall certainly return next time we are in the area. Fantastic value for moneyand A1++++

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5 and ideal
