Recently stayed with my faience at no 18 for a long weekend away. Was the perfect place to have a peaceful quiet break from the city. Brilliant sea views from the room and a friendly family run house. I will be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in a fantastic room located on the second floor at the front of the house. Stunning views...

Very clean and freindly.Great location just off the beach and great views. Your just walking distance from the town centre. Next door to a superb Chinese restaurant. Could not ask for more really except a nice hearty breakfast to start the day. Spot on.

I recently stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and had a fantastic stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and did everything to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

Would highly recommend to all including those with families. 10 out of 10!!

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend in the Family room which is right at the top of the house. Our hosts were very friendly and relaxed and helped us with suggestions for where to eat on the first night. The breakfasts were wonderful, ours hosts asked each guest what breakfast they woudl like and then cooked it to order. This is an organised hotel and very clean and well run. It is a lovely house with flowers outside and a wonderful view onto the promenade. The plus point was the basket of toys we found in our room which delighted my son and was very thoughtful. A nice touch as well was the coffee and biscuits in the room. We look forward to returning and will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you!

Room Tip: Room 23 looked stunning from what we saw from an open door - a huge window with view over the sea...

Stayed at No.18 a couple of nights on a buisness trip and couldn't fault my stay one bit. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea - was lovely on a morning eating breakfast with that view!

On arrival I was greeted by a friendly host who throughout my stay made me feel very welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

On a resent trip to No 18 I found this was an absolutely lovely place to stay, from the first impression I was received with a warm welcome from friendly couple in charge, throughout the whole stay I felt relaxed and my family had a lovely time in the big family room, the breakfast was superb and no doubt we will be planning a return trip in the not to distant future, good value for money!

I was doing a short marine safety course in the local college and needed somewhere to stay. Turns out that I had stayed there 7 years earlier doing the same course for the first time. Nice, down to earth people always ready to accomodate. Delicious breakfasts and plenty of good advice aboout the area, restaurants etc. Bed was comfortable and I had no problem getting a good nights sleep, which I needed given the physical nature of the training I was doing. The location is perfect with the North Sea directly across the road and there is easy access to public transport though the town is within walking distance for a nice stroll along the sea front promenade if that takes your fancy. Overall a very pleasant stay indeed.
