Lovely comfortable accommodation in a perfect location. Rachel, Peter and Stitch (the dog) are fabulous hosts and Rachel makes the best ever flapjacks! Beautiful garden where you can relax (with a glass of something) after a long day exploring the beautiful New Forest and surrounding area. M&S foodhall 5mins walk round the corner and Waitrose very close by too. The Loft is literally just off the Lymington High street and only a short walk to the harbour and train station. Ferry to the IOW a very short drive or train journey. Will definitely be back!

Lymington is a lovely town with good shops and an interesting history. The quay and Marina are good places to stroll and watch the world go by. The salt marshes and walk along the sea wall to Keyhaven are heaven for birdwatchers.
The Loft is a wonderful place to stay, peaceful and well equipped.
The owners are friendly and helpful and Stitch the dog always gives you a friendly welcome.
The garden is amazingly beautiful.
A stunning place to stay.

“Great hideaway in lovely setting”
Reviewed November 12, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

My wife and I stayed here for a short break at the beginning of November and we used The Loft as our base from which to visit the New Forest, Isle of Wight and other places of interest in the area. The Loft itself is spacious, comfortable and peaceful, all of which made for a perfect short break. The owners, Rachel and Peter, are charming and have an in depth knowledge of the area, which they are more than willing to share. Rachel was also kind enough to post me my glasses which I managed to forget when we left. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

“Large comfortable apartment a short walk from Lymington town centre”

We had the priviledge to stay at the Loft for a few days. Rachel welcomed us with her home made flapjack and berries picked from her raspberry vines in the garden. A brilliant touch and both exceptionally good. The apartment is large and well equipped. Although is is a one bed the large breakfast dining area has a large bench seat that converts to a very comfortable full-sized bed. There is plenty of off street parking in their large driveway.
The loft was perfect for a Lymington getaway and comes highly recommended.

Wow - what an amazing holiday we have had at The Loft. The accommodation was beautiful and had everything we needed for a wonderful and relaxing holiday with our two young boys.

The location of The Loft couldn't be better - it's on a stunning lane directly off the main high street. The high street is wonderful - lots of lovely shops and coffee shops and it leads down to the lovely cobbled marina. Supermarkets and pubs are all within walking distance.

We could have happily spent the 10 days we were here in and around Lymington - the gardens at The Loft are just stunning and tranquil and it was so relaxing spending time within the walled gardens.

The location is great - we went to Beaulieu, the Isle of Wight, Moors Valley Country Park, cycling in Burley, Lepe, Bucklers Hard, Hyth to name but a few.... We'd definitely recommend catching the open top bus to Buckler's Hard and then walking to Beaulieu plus the puffin cruise to the Isle of Wight. Crabbing in Lymington was a big favourite along with seeing the wild ponies, donkeys and highland cattle.

We'd definitely love to come back - Rachel and Peter were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Our young boys loved chatting to Rachel and were very much at ease in her company. Stitch the dog will be missed too! We loved hearing about the local area, the garden and the history of the house. The flapjacks were amazing, as were the homegrown raspberries. A huge thank you for making our holiday so memorable. Jules, James, Freddie & George x

“Delightful, charming and very very comfortable”
Reviewed August 22, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We were so lucky to find this little gem, conveniently local just behind the high street in a lovely quiet location. A gorgeous property within a walled garden which is beautifully landscaped with an abundance of lovely British birds. The accommodation was perfect for my husband and I, we had everything we needed for our 5 night stay including a well equipped kitchen and utilities. We walked everywhere with M & S just 5 mins away and so many great places to eat and drink. Rachel made sure we had everything we needed and was a delightful host, kind and caring without being overbearing. Thanks so much - we'll be back soon!
