This property was in a lovely location and it was a very good size.
The town of Lymington is delightful, and so is cycling in the very beautiful New Forest.
We had many lovely walks along the beach at Barton on Sea, Highcliffe and Friars Cliff, Mudeford Bay - all beaches are lovely and clean and of high quality.
The property owners have kept a lot of this properties old world charm and as there were six in our party we had plenty of room to spread out.
It was very clean, although a little more attention in the upstairs shower room would have been good but this is petty as the rest of the property was spotless.
The owner introduced himself and offered to offer any help should we need it - which is always much appreciated whilst on holiday.
The beds were also very comfortable - another thing to be much appreciated.
Absolutely love the New Forest and will definitely return to this lovely part of the Country.
We were looking for a place which was conveniently placed for the motor museum, Exbury Gardens, Milford on Sea and New Forest walks and this place was ideally suited to do what we wanted. Also just 5 minutes from the Isle of Wight ferry (ideal in summers)! Hadn't realised till we visited, that Lymington has a lovely high street with a wonderful Saturday market and we were pleasantly surprised by how dog friendly the town is!
Steve and Tiffany are very hospitable and friendly and the welcome hamper with Easter eggs, milk and wine was very thoughtful of them! The kitchen is superbly equipped and there's log fire and bbq too (we didn't use either). Also has a private garden which was lovely as we were travelling with children and a doggy :-)
We found all 3 bedrooms spacious and quite comfortable - as we did end up staying indoors for one day when it was all washed out. Having a pub/carvery serving decent food next door was ideal and there's no noise or disturbance from the pub at all.
All in all, we all had a super time :-) Thank you to the owners for making our stay so comfortable!
Just had a brilliant week here: two adults and two children, aged 4 and 7. Can't believe how fast it's gone - so much to do and such an excellent base for exploring the beautiful New Forest and the coast. The property is easily accessible by one of the main roads into Lymington and next door to a pub, although neither of which cause any noise disturbance.
The property is a very spacious: the lounge, with it's massive TV, is incredibly grand with its sink-into leather sofas and log burner; three bathrooms, including a fabulous shower in the downstairs shower room; three bedrooms; utility room, including an extra fridge, freezer, washer and dryer and a very well equipped kitchen.
The owners were very quick to address any issues and questions we had, and Steve was super helpful with his local knowledge of places to go. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, which included a couple of cuddly toys for the kids and a bottle of wine for the parents.
Thanks for a super week! :)
A lovely week at little home farm, great location, comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful owners, great pub right next door
We stayed at this charming house for our family holiday, with my kids 24, 21 and 19 and parents 70's. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack which was very kind of the owners. (Thank you) It is spacious and well equipped with a lovely patio area with BBQ, fish pond and grass. My kids loved the coffee maker, It is located next door to the pub but we didn't have any noise at night at all, we didn't use the pub so can't comment. Would definitely recommend this place and our little dog was welcome too!
