“needs some tlc”
Reviewed June 20, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

good location.
Problem with ants in the kitchen. Dripping taps in both kitchen and en suite bathroom.
Outdoor furniture on balcony was rusty and covered in bird droppings. Doors to the balcony do not lock properly.
No instructions for using tumble drier in the utility shed. It seems to need coins of some kind but tried £1 and 20p coins to no avail.
Front step has a slab missing.
Overall a lack of maintenance and bearing in mind this is at the start of the season, I can only assume things will deteriorate further

“Great location, great people, great holiday.”
Reviewed September 14, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We are both 20-year old students who just wanted to get away and explore for a few days. The cottage was plenty big enough for the two of us, and it would have been adequate for two additional guests.

Easy drives to Lymington, Milford-on-sea (great for a walk out to Hurst Castle), Lyndhurst, Hatchet Pond (INCREDIBLE SUNSETS - SEE PHOTOS!) and many other attractions.

4* because the DVD player didn't work...although the people were so friendly they would have no doubt rectified the issue had we mentioned it. 100% would recommend to a couple of all ages or a family with kids. No doubt we'll be back in a few years time. Thanks for the great memories.

Thank you for your great review. Unfortunately our local council is not so great on recycling but we do have large recycling bins down the road from the mews, we will let people know where they are in future.

“Great weekend with our parents”

My partner and I decided to treat my parents to a nice weekend away. Solent Reach Mews accommodation was perfect for two couples (but near in mind that one of the rooms is a twin) with plenty of space. It is in a very quiet part of Lymington with both the sea (great walking trails) and the centre of the town just a short drive away. The two storey apartment has a pretty well equipped kitchen - we cooked breakfasts and a dinner. You will need to bring your own basics - there was no salt/pepper. No soap either.
Bedrooms are pretty spacious with separate bathrooms. There only a few other apartments there and it was really quiet when we were there. There are a few barbecues in the shed - perfect for a summery day!
Overall very happy and would recommend this accommodation!

“lovely cottage”
Reviewed November 2, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This was a lovely cottage to stay in, with plenty of room for us..(there were 4 adults in the group).. It was very tastefully decorated and had everything you needed for a stay there, It was very quiet there but in easy reach of the New Forest, Dorset, Southampton and Portsmouth.
