“Genuine Italian and a great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

I'm not sure if this is best described as a 'Deli, or an eating place. It's both, and does both equally well. I won't describe this as a fully fledged restaurant, because it isn't. It's nearer to being a cafe than a restaurant, although it does open some evenings. However if you are looking for an evening meal, you need to check out a couple of essential things. First is it open? It only opens on a few evenings a month, as day time trade is their main offering. Second, check the menu, as they serve a fixed menu with no options. If it's something you really don't like, then don't go.
There are other very interesting additions, like Italian lessons. or lessons accompanied by a 3 course meal. They really are trying very hard.,
Most important is to say that the food is all very genuine Italian, freshly cooked on the premises, and the service is pleasant rather than express. Such a nice place to go, and such good food., In Lymington. It's a must if you like Italian.

“An Italian pasticceria come caffe come deli based in Lymington that sells cannoli Siciliani on a daily basis, has to be a 5 star”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

The sell cannoli Siciliani and mini sfogliatelle which is a rare thing in this part of the world. For that alone I award a 5 star review. I was impressed by the sweet and savoury treats on offer.

Unfortunately we arrive just before closing time and the coffee machine was being cleaned so I couldn't try the espresso. I look forward to returning to try coffee and some of the grilled preserved aubergine!!

“The authentic taste of Italy - in Lymington”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We popped in for lunch over the weekend not quite knowing what to expect. We received a warm welcome and were impressed with the excellent range of authentic Italian lunch-time dishes on offer. We both chose salads (one mozzarella and one goat's cheese) and both were absolutely delicious. As others have said, the coffee has to be the best in town. This new restaurant is now definitely on our list of favourites in the Lymington area.

“Easily the best COFFEE in LYMINGTON ,perhaps the best from here to Bournemouth! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Excellent. Looking forward to our evening meal here shortly. Should be very good! Only spotted this little gem last night on Trlpadvisor and had to test it out-- if only because of the high praise for the coffee, well deserved.

“Good friendly atmosphere and excellent lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

We have only been twice but hope to return many times. Lunch was very good indeed - simple but tasty pasta with a sauce that was obviously home made. So different to all the usual chains on High Streets where the food is mostly reheated. The expresso coffee was perfect! We bought some pastries to take home and wish we had bought a few more. Nevermind we are just a short walk away.
Well done - it makes a difference to a High Street to have a privately owned restaurant.
