I'm not sure if this is best described as a 'Deli, or an eating place. It's both, and does both equally well. I won't describe this as a fully fledged restaurant, because it isn't. It's nearer to being a cafe than a restaurant, although it does open some evenings. However if you are looking for an evening meal, you need to check out a couple of essential things. First is it open? It only opens on a few evenings a month, as day time trade is their main offering. Second, check the menu, as they serve a fixed menu with no options. If it's something you really don't like, then don't go.
There are other very interesting additions, like Italian lessons. or lessons accompanied by a 3 course meal. They really are trying very hard.,
Most important is to say that the food is all very genuine Italian, freshly cooked on the premises, and the service is pleasant rather than express. Such a nice place to go, and such good food., In Lymington. It's a must if you like Italian.
