I couldn't disagree more with 'whowhatwhy' in their description. They clearly visited in the very early days when most of Lymington and surrounding areas did.

Whilst the bar service has it's moments, one just needs to time their visit to the bar a little better.

The prices have come down, there are plenty of offers and the food is served as quickly as reasonably possible. Real Ales are priced at just £1.99 per pint. Other drinks are available!

Recently I went for a meal with three children and six adults including myself. Main meals (for all, no children's meals), two rounds of drinks, desserts for the kids and an extra drink for myself resulted in a total cost of less than £75 (£8.50 per head).

I had the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious. Last Friday I enjoyed a fish meal for £6.09 including an alcoholic drink. Again delicious. The group meal was ordered and served within twenty minutes, the fish within ten.

The atmosphere is good. The staff are friendly. The food is more than acceptable for the price that is paid. I would happily visit again. In fact, I'm there tonight for their steak night!

“rude service good food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

Been to this Wetherspoon on a few occasions the food and decor are very good and so are most of the staff. The manager with blond spikey hair however is very rude, he avoids eye contact, he is abrupt and does not smile and slams your change down on the bar. My friend who nearly fell over on a wet floor with no wet floor sign recieved no apology from him. All in all great experience just avoid this manager

“Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

Arrived at 8.10 to find the doors still shut then someone appeared and opened up apologising for being late. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was lovely we had two full English and toast and preserves. No complaints about the food although my husband couldn't drink the filter coffee as it was very strong. Nice relaxed atmosphere would definitely go again when in the area.

“Mixed review...hit and miss”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Had breakfast here and were the only diners...on a Sunday morning ?...thought that a little unusual....full brekkie arrived, but just plain bread...not toasted...asked the blonde waitress with piercings about the untoasted bread and was told we hadn't asked for it when we ordered....
First time I have ever had to ask to get the bread for my eggs to be "toasted"...oh well...
Tried lunch time about two weeks later and was pleasantly surprised...very crowded and had to clean a table and chairs before we could sit down....but...the battered cod was excellent.

“Cheap and cheerful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013 via mobile

We went along on a Monday evening for a meal and it wasn't busy at all. The staff were very friendly, the food came out at the same time and quickly and was of a good standard. Prices are very reasonable and a decent variety on the menu. Not all the beers were available, but not a big deal for us.
