Actually booked by a friend. Many other reviews attest to the great amenities of this cottage. Extremely comfortable with excellent furnishing. Close to town centre and also roads to all local attractions. Would also recommend the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum for a wet day - even non MC enthusiasts will enjoy
We stayed at this beautiful cottage for a long weekend whilst meeting with family members staying elsewhere.
The cottage is wonderfully appointed with top of the range appliances and fabulous/cosy furnishings. The beds and linen were top quality as were the glassware, crockery, cutlery etc.
The location of the cottage proved to be perfect with Lymington just a five minute walk away and there is also parking for two cars although it is a little "snug".
There were loads a little "extras" including a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits, tea, coffee, tin foil, cling film etc - you literally didn't need to take anything. Most unusually all the bathrooms were left supplied with handwash, shower gel, shampoos and conditioners in case you had forgotten anything.
The owners really have thought of everything and I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone.
We booked through New Forest Holiday Lets who were very friendly and helpful and made the whole process extremely easy.
PS. We also took our dog and yes, there was a dog bed and bowl available also.
We have just returned from a week's stay in Silverton Cottage. The property is brilliantly located for the vibrant town of Lymington and is a great base for exploring the New Forest and Dorset. The house itself is extremely tastefully decorated, beautifully clean and very well equipped. The courtyard is lovely for enjoying early evening drinks and the comfortable beds have inspired us to purchase a new one for ourselves back at home! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely be back.
Fantastic Cottage, beautifully and stylishly decorated, also fitted out to a very high standard. Great location for the Quay and town centre, maximum 10 min walk. If you want to stay in Lymington you will not find better.
A very well refurbished property that would suit a family of 4 or 3 couples (max). The cottage is 5 minutes walk from the town centre and harbour and has a great open-plan kitchen-dining-living area with courtyard.
All amenities are new, the beds comfortable and the shower large and powerful.
Off-street parking for 2 large cars.
What a gem! Hardly used the car, everything so close by. Great entertaining space, we ate outside in the courtyard more than I expected as it protects from any wind and catches the sun all day.
Very well equipped, and everything new, it was a bit of a luxury escape. Sky tv and log burner proved useful on one cool evening.
Didn't cook much as so many options for eating out within a 5 min walk, was a real treat and fab break.
Conveniently situation cottage (centre of Lymington a few minutes walk away). There were just three of us for the weekend, but plenty of space and comfort to accommodate up to six. A lot of attention to detail in the fitting out and furnishing, an enjoyable place to relax, especially in the evenings with the wood burning stove. Some great recommendations from the owners on where to eat/drink.
