This is a restaurant we have visited many times as a family, initially because it had a cheap ‘early bird’ menu when dining between 5.30 and 7pm.
Prices gradually crept up, which meant it was less affordable for regular meals out, but they have recently introduced a "sottocinque" menu where pasta and pizza is just under £5 if dining during the week.
If you are thinking of eating there, you should expect:
• good, tasty albeit not exceptional food
• an informal and relaxing atmosphere
• prompt, pleasant though not very effusive service
• reasonable prices for both food and drink
I think they have got a good balance here, particularly suited to families.
