Visited out of interest and really enjoyed reading about the history of the windmill and how life used to be. The windmill has been restored to a very high standard, and although work was being carried out during our visit, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Free to enter although donations accepted... the lady in the windmill was friendly, helpful and informative... now no longer a working mill-history of the mill on show and next to it was the lifeboat museum... enjoyed the two visits, showing the life around the two buildings

You can go inside the windmill and see the exhibits on show which outline the history of the windmill and how it worked. There are some local displays in the basement and a small shop where you can buy souvenirs. Well worth a visit.

It is such a beautiful sight. The sunset at this place is amazing. Played a game of football on the grounds followed by a drink at the Queens.

Inside is a museum that covers much more than just the windmill itself. It describes the local history over the last 200 years very well. We found it interesting and definitely worth our time. Activities for young kids. It was also a welcome place on the rainy, blustery day we were there.
