The rooms are elegantly decorated and furniture is very clasical but modern. The staff are excellent and very friendly and the food is to die for. I had dinner there twice by choice and the steak is out of this world and so is the burger, so fresh and moist and just perfectly cooked. The bar is quite well and bar tender (Ahmet) is the charm of the bar. very friendly and always welcoming and smiley. The hotel has a beautiful 18m pool, jacuzzi and sauna. As well as a good sized excercise room with the latest equipment!

Obviously the mangament of this hotel is outstanding by hand picking their employees and items on the bar and food menu as well as the interior design. A definite must visit hotel!!

Room Tip: Go for a seaview room!

Dear Du13

Thank you for your kind comments, I will make sure I pass your praise onto Ahmed.

I’m pleased you pointed out our superb leisure facilities, with an excellent array of Techo Gym and Power Plate equipment it is the ideal way to burn of those extra calories added in the restaurant! Open from 6.30am for the early riser, a quick swim or work out keeps the mind invigorated for a hard days work ahead!

Kind regards

Stayed for one night last weekend. Booked by telephone, staff very helpful and upgraded room. Reception staff also very friendly and helpful. Room lovely, very large, clean and beautifully decorated. Hotel ideally situated for a brisk walk on beach and within walking distance of shops. Would definitely recommend. Didn't get chance to go into spa but looked nice. Breakfast excellent.

Dear 259KatieB

Thank you for posting your review.
I’m pleased to hear that you were looked after and enjoyed your stay, next time don’t forget to bring your costume as the Spa is an excellent facility, especially during the cold winter weekends.

Hope to see you again soon and have a Merry Christmas!

After reading some reviews I had some reservations about booking into the restaurant. However the staff were very attentive but not overbearing. The food was excellent, the decor and ambiance relaxing. I shall be visiting The Grand again and hopefully very soon.

Stayed one night - the hotel is beautifully decorated - lots of lovely areas to sit and read basking in the sunshine. OUr room was facing inwards away from the sea but was well appointed and huge bathroom. The Spa facillities were lovely - huge pool and not cramped like others. Staff were so welcoming and helpful and the food was so tasty and interesting - tapas, roast dinners, light bites and really impressed with the wine selection. Breakfast was excellent value and quality and the contiental was one of the better ones I have encountered with lovely smoked salmon, meats, cheeses and lots of fruit and cereals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back if we are ever in the area.

Room Tip: try a seaview

One night break to see the illumination s at Blackpool. Quite pricey but room was large and comfy and lovely bathroom. Swimming pool was quiet and very enjoyable. The woman on reception in the evening and following morning was very helpful. Although the continental breakfast was fine at the price paid it would have been nice not to have to pay an extra 4.50 for two fried eggs ! Overall nice hotel but more for business than pleasure.

Dear CarolTroon

Thank you for posting a review it is much appreciated.
I would just like to mention to potential future customers that we offer an extensive range of continental breakfast items.
There is plenty on offer to suit all appetites, however if anybody would prefer to order any cooked item there is a small charge as mention.
These items are cooked freshly a la minute by the chef opposed to a hot buffet display to ensure top quality.

I was told that Blackpool was not a place that I would like to stay but I really wanted to see the "Blackpool Lights". Anyway, the Grand Hotel was fabulous. It looked over the sea. The manager was really nice and upgraded us to his best room since it was quiet on the day. It was really lovely--so much so, that I'd go there again. The bathroom was lovely and the bedroom was also very comfortable. They have a very nice pool as well.

Just returned from our 4th visit to the Grand. The hotel is indeed 'grand' in every sense of the word, from the old staircase with its leaded lights that sweeps majestically into the modern reception area, to the lovely leisure facilities to the styling of the rooms and the wonderful food. But most of all what has continued to impress us is the warm welcome and attention to detail we get from the staff. All are to be commended for their curteous and efficient running of this grand old lady. Since our last visit the kitchen area has been opened up so there really is nowhere to hide and it is fascinating to watch the chefs at work, the kitchen is spotless. Our usual room (104) has had a facelift with a new carpet (very nice) and new accents on the bed. It was no trouble at all for an extra z bed to be added to the room when we reaslised the sofa bed was a tad small for my 2 children. Mum's room (110) is their very best room and is well worth the premium if it's luxury you're after, the bathroom is as big as most hotel bedrooms! Not a lot I can add really other than keep doing what you do because we will keep coming back for more! Simply cannot wait til we can return and indulge in a little more R & R. Top marks all round for this stay 10/10

Room Tip: try to get a room with a sea view it really is well worth the premium

Many thanks for another great review, it nice to hear that you have had yet another enjoyable stay.
