“Great takeaway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

A group of ten of us started our Sunday walk at Fairhaven Lake which is lovely, we then walked along the prom towards Lytham Windmill and then into Lytham for some lunch. After a lovely stroll around we decided to get some lunch. We had a small picnic in the Market Square having got different sandwiches and baguettes from The Lytham Kitchen

“Traditional cafe providing good honest fayre.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

We visited this cafe last on 13th October 2012. We have visited before quite a few times on a day trip from Manchester. The food is always good although not the cheapest - homemade delights of all kinds. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The place is always packed and bustling. The only down side to this cafe is that the decor has had its day - it needs a revamp probably of a contemporary nature. However, try the egg custard - it is gorgeous!

“always fabulous we would not eat anywhere else in lytham”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

visited the lytham kitchen again today ....fabulous meal, outstanding , friendly service as per usual. We live about 45 minutes from lytham but visit at least every 3 months...the lytham kitchen was recommended to us about 18 months ago and we have never looked back . service is always quick and effecient and we have always found the staff friendly and helpful,( particularly the lady who we think is the manager).
food is fresh, plentiful and always well presented. Our 3 year old is always made welcome and provided with crayons etc and my husband and i love the fact that her meal (chosen from the children's menu) is homemade and at 2.45 EXCELLENT value for money.
other people have mentioned on here that the lytham kitchen is not cheap, please bear in mind that lytham is quite an exclusive area and that you certainly do not pay over the odds when you consider the quantity and quality of food that is served.
we recommend the lytham kitchen to all friends and family and have no doubt we will continue to enjoy many family meals here for many years to come.

“Try the specials!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2012

This place has exceeded my expectations time after time and has therefore become a regular place for me to eat! The salads are always fresh and delicious and the sandwiches are awesome as the fillings are fresh and the bread is always nice and soft. However I would implore you to try the specials, particularly the fish. The fish is always delicious and cooked simply yet creatively. As for the fish and chips....Mmmmmmmm! I could go on! My only criticism is that it is not open in the evenings!!!!! The service is also very quick and attentive, without being intrusive. Thank you guys and galls! See you soon :)
