Just come back from an overnight stay in the King's Head in Ross on Wye. The hotel was just a bed for the night really for a wedding nearby and it was fine. The staff were very nice and accommodating and there's a friendly atmosphere pervading the hotel and it's downstairs bar. The rooms and bathrooms are clean (apart from the windows) but are really nothing special. The hotel could use a bit of refurb if it wanted to move up a level but for a 2** hotel it's fine. There's parking round the back. We paid £75 including breakfast (which we missed so can't comment on that). Probably would not return. We had a late meal (by Ross standards) at 10pm in China Boy Jo - pretty good.
