We recently stayed at the Kings Head for a night when attending a friends wedding in town.
Efficent reception staff allowed us to book in at 11.30. Room 11 fronting the street had an old four poster bed and large en suite bathroom. On returning from the wedding, we found the room was comfortable but suffered from street noise which kept my wife awake for a while. No trouble for me - out like a light, snored for England and awoke with a start - my wife was trying to strangle me. I had not realised that she disliked me so much.
A pleasant cooked breakfast. Nice staff. Can be a bit awkard to find, even with satnav and the car park gets full. All in all , a very pleasant hotel and we would book again - in seperate bedrooms!.
