“Three visits in a week”
Reviewed July 13, 2014 via mobile

Walked the mile or so up from where we were staying at The Lea; having already sampled the local pub. We were not disappointed; so much so that we went back for lunch and another evening meal later in the week! The young couple that have re - opened the pub are working long hours to build the business up again and they and their chefs are doing a great job! The garden has lovely views and a small slide for the kids. Plenty of tables at the pub and a very large car park. Beer is local Wye Valley brewery. Whilst the food menu is not extensive at the moment, we sampled three mains and two lunches and all were excellent.

“sunday lunch”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Had Sunday Lunch yesterday, and the food was gorgeous. Beef cooked beautifully rare, but we were offered the chance to have it cooked more if necessary. Children are catered for, with smaller portions. Puddings are delicious, especially the ice cream.
There is the added bonus of a good size garden, with a good climbing frame. Perfect for all the family.
we certainly will be eating there again.

Went on a friday lunchtime and had welsh rarebit off the specials and my mum had the ham and mustard mayo sandwich, we had desserts and drinks all for under £20. Great service, relaxing atmosphere and lovely childrens area for when i want to take my children. High recommend it and looking forward to going for an evening meal.

“Visit to the Penny Farthing June 27th 2014”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

What a fantastic place to put a pub in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside! The pub itself has a friendly and welcoming ambiance and the owners are equally welcoming. I had a very enjoyable meal cooked to perfection and served very promptly. The outside area is lovely to sit and admire the views with a special coffee. Do yourself a favour and go and try this lovely pub/restaurant! I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
