This is a small hotel situated on the banks of the river Wye. Beautiful room, amazing dinner and breakfast, attentive and friendly staff. Very relaxing break- we couldn't have asked for anything more.

This really is a charming "Hotel", superbly run by the owners. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, the service exemplary and the food (locally sourced) is wonderful. Located overlooking the river, we enjoyed a very pleasant and peaceful stay over the last weekend in May. Easy walk into Ross-on Wye – interesting old market town and not far from Symonds Yat and other local attractions. Would highly recommend and we will all (including the well behaved dog, Brewster) return. Thank you Helen

Room Tip: Opt for the riverside

Comfortable rooms, pleasant surroundings and delicious food. The wine list was first class and not over priced either. They even went to the trouble of stocking a premium vintage Bourgogne Chardonnay. Exquisite! We'll be back soon I hope.
Thank you once again.

Room Tip: Don't go by price.

a really pleasant comfortable place to stay. We only had one night there but would have no hesitation in staying there again if the opportunity arose. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and the room we had was spotlessly clean, sizeable and very homely. The evening meal was everything one would expect from a 5 star establishment and although not cheap we considered it to be well worth the expenditure and congratulations to the chef for a beautifully cooked meal. The location overlooking the River Wye was perfect setting for an excellent establishment.

Room Tip: Ask for the corner room

A wonderful quant Restaurant with rooms! The Wilton is so charming and full of history. The food was absolutely divine-all local produce. The only complaint -there was too much of it. ....not overso, but because it was such good quality. The choices were excellent-quite different which makes a change from the usual menu selections you can get. This applies to both breakfast and dinner menus. The staff were all very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely rooms, we wanted a twin so only choice was a garden room, still pleasant. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The weather was not very good when we stayed at the end of May so did not do any of the local walks. Well situated for visiting places of interest. One wet afternoon was spent very pleasantly at the Chase Vodka distillery -well worth a visit!

Room Tip: All the rooms are different, unique for each one. Ask for a river view if you can. There is no lift and the stairs are a little aqward to use in my opinion. YOu are able to take well behaved dogs.
