Stayed for 1 night on my wife's birthday I organised a bouquet for the room on arrival,a really super bouquet and she received a lovely box of quality chocolates from them.Room was very nicely furnished comfortable bed and nice ensuite.
The meal was excellent,b/fast was great, what more can I add?a great little stay at an affordable price.Have taken out a loyalty card with them which offers a discount on food and accommodation which means that we will be back in the new year.
Highly recommended.

We stayed two nights here in early November and were very impressed. I rejected the first room we were offered as it was up in the eaves and, although pretty with excellent views, I am claustrophobic and couldn't cope with the ceiling sloping down to the bed. Without fuss, the staff found us another. The second room was even better: double aspect, with lovely views to the Wye and the bridge from our bed. The bed was big and very comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was newly fitted. Dinner was superb both nights and the service attentive. Both days, the owner made a point of talking to all the guests for a few minutes. On hearing that we were there to walk, she lent us a couple of hiking books and gave us suggestions and tips. Breakfast was equally delicious, with plenty of hot and cold choice. Even our dog was made very welcome. The only downside for me was the speeding ticket I acquired during the trip. Be warned: the local police appear to be exceptionally strict.

Room Tip: Ours was on a corner, with lovely views of the River Wye and the bridge into Ross.

We stayed here as a treat for my partners birthday as the previous reviews had all been glowing.
I have to say I agree with them all. We had some of the finest food we have ever had.
The staff were attentive and friendly and as they were not particularly busy the chef actually came out for a chat with us before we ate and recommended the dishes he thought we would like and he was exactly right. We both had the duck as a starter and the mix of flavours was exquisite. We also both had the fillet of Hereford beef and it was certainly the best piece of steak we had both ever had and it was cooked to perfection and served with champ mash, spinach and mushroom - all adding to the overall experience.
I only wanted something light for a dessert and the chef recommended a lemon posset with some raspberry sorbet - wonderful! my partner had the bread and butter pudding and said it was lovely.
We had a deal through Secret Escapes and it was not particularly cheap but I can honestly say that it was worth every penny.
We will definitely be going back!

Booked a 2 night break here with Secret Escapes - bed, breakfast & evening meal. We had room1 - four poster bed with a river view. Creaking floors and doors all added to the olde worlde charm of this wonderful 16th century building which has been beautifully furnished by the present owners, who were very friendly & welcoming (as were all the staff that we came into contact with).
The food was simply some of the best I have ever had - the Hereford fillet of beef was simply to die for!!
I really can't recommend this place highly enough.

For a few years now, 9 friends and myself have met up every 6 months, in different parts of the country, for DBB and a few pre-dinner drinks. We tend to be a discerning lot when it comes to the dining and overnight accommodation experience and Wilton Court managed to tick all our boxes. All of us agreed that the food and accommodation were excellent and the service was agreeably attentive yet unobtrusive. Unusually, we all agreed that we must return to this hotel in the future as the staff made us feel very welcome and our varied selection of meals at dinner were all cooked to perfection. Breakfast was just as good and the service continued to be of the highest standard. The rooms are very comfortable with good views and the location is impressive. We WILL be returning!

Just had a super weekend at the Wilton Court Hotel. The occasion was a 90th birthday with family aged from 4-90, it can be quite difficult to find somewhere that is suitable for such a vast spread of ages! Wilton Court did everything to make us all feel extremely welcome in a relaxed atmosphere & lovely surroundings. The menu offered a good range of choice with interesting yet not pretentious dishes & the food was simply delicious, every meal, every time! The staff are friendly & helpful, there when you need them but not at all in your face (as some places can be). The setting, WOW! Simply stunning, has to be seen to be believed. The accommodation is interesting, charming & comfortable, with no two rooms the same & stunning views wherever you look. Would highly recommend for either dining or accommodation (breakfast was divine!)

Room Tip: Room 9 is a suite, ideal family room.

The reason I picked this hotel was it two AA red Rosettes for food. Was sadly rather disappointed in the food offering. Menu was fine, tastes a touch indifferent, and what presentation there was seemed an afterthought. Perhaps the Chef was off as the saying goes. General lack of communication between the staff was very apparent. To compare with my lunch the following day at LLansantffraed Court, also two Rosettes this Restaurant pales into insignificance. However the public rooms and bedrooms are of a high standard, very comfortable with a pleasantly eccentric twist to the décor, so I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was surprisingly good, given the previous night.
