This was one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. The owners couldnt do more for you they were friendly and gave you a very warm welcome.

What can I say about the bedrooms fantastic real luxury nothing has been missed! it was our anniversary the owners helped my husband arrange flowers for me and helped me to feel really special.

The restuarant is wonderful too the food is amazing and the chef even came out and met us which you never see normally.

I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel !! Thank you

WOW WOW WOW, what can I say, from the moment we pulled onto the driveway, pure heaven, sheer indulgence. It was a glourious sunny day, we enjoyed afternoon tea in the garden, then were shown to our room. We had the small double, which was all that was left, but was still a fair size and furnished in Sanderson paper and bedding. Bed was very comfortable . We looked at a suite before we left, and that was amazing. Dinner was top class too , and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Many thanks to Kerry and team, for making our stay so memorable and lovely on our christening weekend of our new BMW z4 MOLLY D !!

My wife and I spent three nights at Orles Barn during June on the back of a ‘Four in Bed’ promotion offer.

We stayed in the Pippin Room and the room itself was very nice, with a comfy bed and a open bath overlooking the garden. However, we did have some niggles – one being that the bathroom light over the sink was not working during our stay, despite us reporting it on the first day The tea tray also needed some attention. If you’re advertising your establishment as a 5* then these are the sort of things that one shouldn't have to highlight.

The staff were friendly enough, especially the Chef. We didn't have dinner in the B&B as we were the only guests staying and we’d guess it would have lacked ambience. In any case, it was closed on first night and we don’t think anyone else dined in the restaurant during our stay. In the end we walked into town for our meals in the local pubs & hotels each night. The breakfasts were nice although we suspect it was cooked by a different person on our first morning as it was overcooked, but the subsequent mornings was very good.

As stated by other reviews we clearly noticed that they are in a transition period and are struggling to maintain the reputation they previously enjoyed, especially after the TV programme. That all said, we did enjoy our stay at Orles Barn and liked Ross. We just felt it didn't compare to other 5* B&B’s that we’ve stayed at in the past and we don't think they should keep promoting the ‘Four in a Bed’ programme as clearly everyone has moved on since.

On arrival we given a jar of cookies ... They looked and tasted homemade... Totally lush and a really nice way to welcome folk after travelling..
We were taken to our gorgeous room - Annie Elizabeth, which has been tastefully decorated, the en-suite is very clean and of a high standard; the bed for us was abit on the hard side, however it's very difficult to meet everybodies needs when it comes to sleeping, still it was comfortable and a good nights sleep was had.
Breakfast... Well what can be said??? Totally outstanding!!! Plenty of choice, nicely presented ,
tasty and served on hot plates (obviously not the cereals..lol... It's a pet hate of mine cold or cool plates!) .
Bar prices are very reasonable, which makes a pleasant treat for a night cap...
Location is good, only 15-20 min walk into the centre..
All in all a lovely place to stay..

We first came cross Orles Barn on the T V show Four in a bed,and decided it was the place for us.
We were shown to our room The Pixie Apple Suite which was superb.Everything you would expect was there for our comfort.
We found the hotel very comfortable and all the staff went that extra step to take care of our needs.
We never used the restaurant on the evening but the breakfast was one of the best .
All in all i can fully recomend the hotel to anybody

Thanks to all

Room Tip: They all seem to be good rooms, but the pixie apple was great

Just spent the weekend here and found it excellent. The whole place is very beautifully decorated in relaxed French Grey (we learnt). Despite the 30degree heat we had a fan in our room and the lovely garden to relax in. Food was excellent as was service. It was lovely to sit in the garden and have pre-diner drinks. Despite the fact that we were the only occupants on Sunday night we still received an excellent diner with everything we wanted. Highly recommended.
