We went for the first time to Glewstone Court for dinner with two friends who were visiting us. It was most definitely an excellent choice. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown into an attractive and very confortable large bar/lounge. We were given amuse-bouches and chose from the menu.
The restaurant was another delightful large and airy room with a high ceilling. I had HOME MADE SOUP OF THE DAY, followed by PAN ROASTED RUMP OF PEMBROKESHIRE LAMB and their SIGNATURE DECONSTRUCTED BANOFFEE PIE which is a Banana mousse, toffee parfait rolled in own biscuits, bitter chocolate shard, vanilla bean cream, milk chocolate sauce. I would thoroughly recommend these choices, but others had different dishes - we all thought that the food was delicious.
The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was splendid. We will certainly return to this restaurant and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
