What a find !! You must try this for yourself to appreciate the pure quality of this place. Every town should have a Gurkha Restaurant. Fantastic everything, take our word for it.

We stumbled across this restaurant while having a look around Ross, and what a nice find it turned out to be. We had lunch there on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The staff were very friendly. We started with vegetable samosas, which were lovely. We then had Himalayan stew and Khatmandu curry. Both were enjoyable and a nice change to standard Indian food.

Nepalese food - so we asked the lady, who served us, to choose for us as we are not experts and we wanted to eat well... We enjoyed our meal immensely. Her choices suited our palette and she explained the ingredients as well as how the dishes were prepared. It was quiet but it was a Sunday evening in January. Most highly recommended. THANKS, John and Jacob

We called in one evening after I spotted this place whilst wandering around the town. I use a nearby Gurkha shop at home for buying my spices and pulses...so was intrigued!
We had the set meal for two and the food was so utterly delicious that I would have gone back the next night............
Unfortunately, it was the only night they closed lol!
The ambiance wais pleasantly relaxed, the food was cooked freshly and the balance of spices perfect. In particular, the starter of vegetable samosas, chicken satay and vegetable bhaji were to die for.
The main was also excellent but I could have just eaten more of the starters all night as they were sooooo amazingly good!
Lovely, lovely people too.
I noticed they have won a TA best restaurant rating twice and I am not surprised.....They truly deserve it.
This is a restaurant not to miss if you are in the area.

Whenever we visit Yaks N Yetis we have a great time with friendly service and excellent food. And it is so refreshing to have quality bottled beer and cider on offer instead of the ubiquitous lager.
The food is freshly cooked and spicy: it's why we keep going back for more.
Great place!
