We have just returned from a week's stay at 14 Courtenay Street. Everything about the property was excellent - the location, the views, the garden, the terrace, all of the house's amenities and the little attentions to detail.
When researching our accommodation for our week's stay in Salcombe, we were looking for something that would be fairly central, some outside space, as toddler friendly as possible, and within a reasonable budget. This property ended up ticking all of our boxes and actually totally exceeded our expectations. To find such a comfortable, well equipped house with a lovely large garden and sea views was a real surprise. Its literally a couple of minutes walk to Fore Street and the shops, pubs, restaurants and ferries.
The outside terrace is a lovely feature too - a great place for dinner and a glass of wine in the evening, whilst admiring the views!
Guests are provided with a car park pass for the long stay car park which is very handy although due to the fact that we were lucky to have a week of good weather, we found that we rarely needed to use the car and instead, were able to walk (or take the ferries) to the choice of nearby beaches and attractions. Its nice to be so central to everything and not have to rely on a car.
I'd highly recommend this property, its perfect for young families.

We found 14 Courtenay Street very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It has easy walking access to shops, pubs, restaurants and ferries. From the lounge and garden there is a lovely view to the harbour. Organised free parking.

We spent a week in this property and had a great time. The house had everything we needed, and the shops, cafes and restaurants are literally a minutes walk down the hill. The photos are slightly out of date as the lounge now has patio doors that lead out into the garden so its lovely to leave those open and enjoy the views out into the harbour. Salcombe has some great beaches, you need to get a boat but thats half the fun. The car park is about 6-7 mins walk from the house, but its a lovely walk along the quayside and past the boat builders so I always really enjoyed it. We'd definitely stay here again.

We have repeatedly visited Salcombe for over 30 years. For us this is our favourite place to stay. It's tastefully decorated; well equipped and has superb estuary views. Within the town centre yet tucked away from the noise. Dog friendly but spotlessly clean.
