Speechless! Jump the ferry to be picked up by the tractor on SouthSands. The walk is unique and can be done in a decent pair of trainers. Outstanding

Fantastic coastal walk, with some lovely benches marking stop off points for a little rest and to soak in the view. Beautiful views...maybe not for anyone with a fear of heights as elements of the walk unnerved a few friends, but for others it's hard to beat.

Lovely walk, lovely views.
Wonderful wildlife and plants. Watch out for the cows! Though they are beautiful.
When you get to the top, the view is spectacular, well it is all the way round as well.
Don't go on a windy day though!

Actually, we only walked from South Sands to Stare Hole, but wouldn't have missed it for the world. The late Spring, coupled with a warm spell, meant that the claiff faces were absolutely covered with the most incredible display of flowers. The views are tremendous and walk is only slightly challenging. Fabulous.

Stop in at the Winking Prawn for lunch (and if you're feeling lazy get the South Sands Ferry back!) - the Winking Prawn is about 10 minutes from Salcombe on foot. Bolt Head is about another 30 minutes onwards with some pretty steep hills but it's worth it!
