we had really great correspondence from the owners and very detailed directions of how to find the cottage. We arrived late afternoon after a long drive to a welcome basket of scones and jam. The cottage is superb, the renovation is very tasteful and top quality, easily the best stay we had in the uk in 3 weeks.
Everything was spotless, I don't believe we were lacking anything, masses of cups, plates, glasses Etc, really well done.
We did not get chance to use the pool but could have if we wanted to, and we also did not get to do the walking trail..you would be hard pushed to find better owners and a more pleasant setting for this perfect place in the country. We will be back and use it for a base to explore Devon and Cornwall for sure.

Fantastic stay had by all! We were a party of 6, 4 adults with two toddlers and two dogs. Arrived to bubbly, scones, dog treats and the burner going. A brand new travel cot was waiting upstairs. We were impressed by the decor especially the effort the hosts had gone to over the festive season. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a relaxed stay with little ones including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The location was good for walking and exploring and we popped to Plymouth harbour for a change of scenery too. All in all a great stay with great hosts, that are particularly helpful but not in any way invasive.
