A huge thank you to everyone involved from the Bluebell Railway for our fantastic wedding at Horsted Keynes Station. All the staff were professional, caring and thoughtful every step of the way. Afternoon tea on the Wealden Rambler really was amazing and made our day very special!

On Saturday evening four of us went on the Bluebell Railway for dinner. The service was excellent, the food superb and the whole experience amazing so a big 'thank you' to everyone involved including the station staff and engine crew who looked after us throughout our journey. We will be doing it again next year.

A beautiful station on a beautiful day. The behind the scenes is a must do for any trainiac. Educational in a big big way.
The 11 miles of track was well worth the wait due to a couple being late for their posh nosh, holding the station to ransom.

We arrived early in the day as we were staying on the doorstep at Wowo Campsite (where you can hear train whistles from your tent, that's pretty special!) and were able to catch the first train of the day.

It's a long track, which I did realise before going, but hadn't truly appreciated. My 8 year old son decided that he was now "too old" for Steam Railways and did get bored on the way back. What we should've done is get off the train at Kingscote, where there's a play area, and then boarded again when the train returned from East Grinsted.

When we arrived back to Sheffield Park, he was bribed with ice cream and stayed with the grandparents while we took his sister into the fascinating museum. She received a badge for completing a trail, so don't dismiss the museum!
