Just back from spending a couple of nights at this wonderful B+B. It was all you could ever want and all you could ever need from a farmhouse B+B,good food, large clean rooms and the hostess,Annie, was so helpful and pleasant. The location was great with the local pubs offering a good selection of evening meals. Would not hesitate to book here again. Make sure you get the directions from Annie as we did miss the turning on arrival.

Just back from a couple of nights at Old Copwood. It was really great - such a welcome; lovely old cottage, great room with ensuite, full of character and charm with period pieces, if you love old houses great food and friendly service this B&B will delight you. Nothing too much trouble for Annie our hostess. We'll certainly go again! It was a bit difficult to find - check with Annie for a complete description of its location. Margaret Collins 6 July 2012

This really is a very pleasant B&B and its hostess was very attentive. What made our stay really special was the decanter of port and homemade shortbread that we found upon checking into our room - a really nice touch. Obviously breakfast is very important and the homemade bread was delicious as were the sausages and scrambled eggs.

This B&B is secluded and offers a nice bit of privacy and is also within easy reach of Lewes.

I had the pleasure of staying here in December - having had to cancel a booking at the last minute in November. The owner Annie couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. No harsh words, lost deposit or recriminations. Just thanked me profusely for letting her know!
Eventually managed the trip a month later and it was well worth the wait. A warmer welcome and cosier surroundings you'd be hard pushed to find. Great sized bedroom with massive ensuite bathroom. A gem of a find and at such amazing value. Thank you. I have had the pleasure of recommending you to others and look forward to returning again this year.

My wife and i had the pleasure of staying in a house full of character with quiet surroundings. Anne the owner couln't have been more welcoming and was a good cook especially her morning bread. Room was spacious with en suite bathroom. We would highly recommend this great value B & B.

Stayed for five nights in this 400 year old farm cottage on a bed and breakfast basis.
Annie, the owner, is such a great host. Picked me up from the local train station and immediately I knew my stay be be enjoyable.
Great breakfasts cooked on the AGA, freshly home made bread, jam, marmalade, marmite, cream and fruit.
Bedroom clean and comfortable.
A very quiet location in the countryside.
No hesitation in staying here again when I'm in the area.

Room Tip: I had the en-suite room with unobstructed views over the countryside

Thanks to Annie for a very good stay in her homely cottage. We stayed in the ensuite which has a very large bathroom with a shower over the bath from the taps. Good value B&B with a cooked English breakfast.
