“Heaven Farm - a great tea room and camp site”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

We stumbled upon Heaven Farm when returning from Sheffield Park a while ago. We now visit Heaven Farm tea rooms. The food is generally excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. There are normally plently of free places to sit inside. The kids like the pet birds (canaries, finches, etc) and the free roaming chickens.

Recently we camped overnight in the Heaven Farm camp site. The pitch was generous and we found that there are wallabies in the next field which was fun for the kids. The washing up and shower facilities are basic, but overall it's not bad at all for a short break.

“Heaven Farm Stable Tearooms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2014

Highly recommended farm tearoom off the A275 near Sheffield Park Garden. Lovely location with good food and good service. Lots of indoor, decking and outdoor seating. The chickens are an added attraction! It does full lunches including Sunday Lunch. Kids will love it - ours did when they were much younger.

“Lovely peaveful site with crazy chickens!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2014

This is a lovely site with nature trail and tea rooms attached. There are also a few little shops including a butchers that sold us the best kebabs for our bbq!! Our pitch was good, we had electric so were close to toilets and wash up, which was handy - however also close to the chickens and cockerels, which was lovely by day but early wake up call in the morning!
Nice big bathrooms which is great for young familys as we all fitted into one room to shower. Loads of hot water which is a pleasant change to some sites. Not many toilets which might be a problem at busy times, but was ok for us. Also looked like they don't ram the field with tents, which left a lovely meadow in the centre with pitches around the edge. The electric pitches are in a seperate paddock. Bring plenty of CASH though - they only accept cash for camping (shops take cards). Didn't think was expensive, £10 adult, £5 child, £2 electric.
Will prob visit again.

“Visiting a camping friend”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2014 via mobile

I visited here with my two young daughters for the day to see some friends which we're using the site. After reading the reviews on here I would never have stayed but after visiting we will be camping ourselves. The pitches were spacious enough, toilets clean and showers big enough for a whole family at once, a lovely if slightly over priced on site shop and butchers but well worth it as burgers great.

“Time stands still!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

Visited to do the Bluebell Walk, which was heavenly on a sunny afternoon. Parking was easy. We had a cream tea which was delicious, well presented and served within 15 mins.
If you enjoy nostalgia and you are in your 50/60s, then Heaven Farm is your place! It really is like stepping back in time to an afternoon family outing from your childhood!
This time we had two under-fives with us, and felt the setting would be just right for a petting zoo - or even just a few bunnies or chickens etc.
Overall, a very enjoyable visit.
